Stub Ends are paired with lap joint (loose/backing) flanges to permit easy alignment, rotation, and maintenance in piping systems. Verify flange compatibility (lap radius/thickness and facing) against drawings and the governing standard. For sour/chloride services, specify material class and NACE/ISO requirements.
Butt-weld-only grades commonly used for stub ends. Confirm chemistry/mechanical properties with project specs. 3.1/3.2 MTCs with full heat traceability are available.
